Barry Toner

Growing up in West Belfast during the tumultuous 80s and 90s, followed by losing my sight in an accident at 18, profoundly shaped my perspective on life. Professionally, I have a background in computer science with experience at companies like Apple, but stereotypical to all Irish, my true passion lies in storytelling. I'm a Martial Artist, with training in Karate, Wing Chun Kung Fu, Kickboxing, Thai Boxing, and Judo. I’m also deeply interested in mental health, neuroscience, and the medical applications of cannabis, particularly its practical and therapeutic potential. In my free time, I enjoy exploring philosophical ideas, creating and playing music, and finding meaning in the stories we tell ourselves and others.
