Music is my passion. I host a live radio show weekly from the campus radio station out of Western University in London, Ontario Canada called Chin Music where I play and promote underground bands and musicians. Researching and discovering new music daily keeps me inspired. I’ve been playing guitar since the age of ten and have performed with numerous bands. I have perfect pitch and am self-taught. I graduated Music Industry Arts at Fanshawe College and am an avid Pro Tools user who loves audio editing. I host a talk radio show, also on Radio Western, with my sister Kerry called Outlook discussing accessibility, advocacy, and equality with a focus on blindness, but covering all disabilities and marginalized groups. After airing on the radio it is uploaded as a podcast. We have interviewed over 100 guests since our start in 2018 . I was born totally blind with Leber's congenital amaurosis in 1987. At the age of ten I was diagnosed with kidney failure and have had two kidney transplants. These conditions along with scoliosis are all connected as the rare disorder Senior Loken Syndrome. While we live in a sighted world, I am always finding ways to adapt to still be able to accomplish the things I want for myself. I am a white cane user who enjoys reading braille. Fantasy sports is a hobby of mine. I love listening to baseball games on the radio. I live on my own independently and enjoy travel.
