Originally from the UK, Pete has had an extensive career as a music director, with credits including the West End productions of Avenue Q and Kinky Boots, the UK and US 25th Anniversary tours of Les Miserables, UK tours of Hairspray and Legally Blonde, and numerous readings of new musicals. He also spent several years living in LA working as a songwriter and music producer, and he has written and produced songs for musical theater crossover artists such as Elizabeth Teeter (Beetlejuice), Kay Sibal (Six), Aimie Atkinson (Six Original West End Cast), girl band SVN, and Arun Blair-Mangat (& Juliet). As a composer, Pete has written music for plays, documentaries, and short films, and his other musical theater work includes The Frequent Floaters, co-written with Clayton Farris (Weapons) and Laura Schein (Emojiland), the viral Bachelor Tik Tok Musical, and Aurora, which was a semi-finalist for the 2022 O’Neill Musical Theater Conference. www.petewhitesongs.com @petewhitesongs
