Regan Linton

Regan Linton is an award-winning multidisciplinary creator originally from Denver, CO. As a writer, actor, director, and creative advisor, she is passionate about dismantling stale disability narratives through innovative works that include plays, films (documentary and narrative), web-based series, and TYA shows. Regan was one of six directors selected by Warner Bros/Discovery for the 2025 REFRAMED: NEXT GEN NARRATIVES series on Max, featuring her short film JACK AND THE BEANSTALK. She is co-director of the award-winning documentary IMPERFECT about professional theatre artists with disabilities (now streaming). Regan has performed as an actor across the US, including Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Arena Stage, Manhattan Theatre Club, Mixed Blood, and La Jolla Playhouse, often as the first wheelchair user on numerous regional theatre stages. She spent five years as Artistic Director of the disability-affirmative Phamaly Theatre Company in Denver. Regan is a regular featured columnist for New Mobility Magazine covering topics such as body image, sexuality, and self-actualization. She has instructed and guest lectured for top academic institutions including Juilliard, New York University, Carnegie Mellon University, UC San Diego, University of Colorado, and more. Other recent projects include writing/developing a new play FDR’S VERY HAPPY HOUR and serving as Accessibility Coordinator on David Byrne’s immersive experience THEATER OF THE MIND. MFA in Acting UC San Diego, MSW University of Denver, and BA from USC. Regan lives with a T-4 complete spinal cord injury.
